I had never really taken into consideration becoming a Warrior of SunClan. Being a Medicine Cat was always just simply a part of my being. I knew that I was supposed to be the Medicine Cat, Cricketpool's apprentice.
When I reached my sixth moon, I had gained the approval of Cricketpool, and the leader, to become her apprentice, I felt like I never felt before. I felt unconditionally happy. I asked Cricketpool to tell me all of the herbs' uses that very night I had become 'Mothpaw'. She chuckled and said, "In time little one. For now let's just stick with a few basic herbs."
