At first glance, Rainstep appears to be a very tall cat, taller than the most females in the whole Clan. You'll also notice how long her tail and legs are. Rainstep has a big part of Egyptian Mau in her heritage, that's why she has some dark spots on on her short fur. However, as generations passed, the spots in this she-cat's family started gain a small tint of a striped pattern, changing the whole pattern to mackerel. One of her most dominant features also are her large green eyes.

0 moons - Rainstep is born to Crookedtail and Greystorm with the name Rainkit
1 moon - Greystorm is killed by a rogue, an older queen, Spottedfur, adopts Rainkit along with her siblings. Rainkit is seemingly crushed by her mother's death as she refuses to play with the other kits. 
2 moons - Rainkit becomes even more introverted, but even more determited to find her mother's murderer, and avenge her death.

Apprentice
6 moons - Rainkit becomes Rainpaw. Whitestripe becomes her mentor. 
7 moons - Rainpaw trains with a determited attitude, becoming one of the best apprentices in the Clan. She showed a great talent of speed and agility, but she had (and still has) a bad sense of teamwork.

Warrior 
12 moons - Rainpaw finishes her training, and becomes Rainstep in an honor of her elegance. Whistripe is killed a few sunrises afterwards.
16 moons - Rainstep gets an apprentice, Gingerpaw.
17 moons - The leader starts to plan an attack on a rogue group. He assigns a group of warriors to Rainstep. The battle is won, but the loss is great. Whole Rainstep's squad, along with Gingerpaw, died in the battle, which made Rainstep frustrated, making her blame herself for their deaths. 
20 moons - Still heavily crushed by the last evens that happened in the past moons, Rainstep tries to find the rogue that killed her mother 19 moons ago. 
21 moons - To her surprise, she finds out that the murderer was Crookedtail, her own father and Greystorm's mate. She discovered that Crookedtail wanted to take over the whole Clan, but he did not succeed. Out of her frustration, she attacked her father in the forest. They were both thrown into a river. Rainstep woke up in a BirdClan medicine den, not knowing if Crookedtail made it out alive. However, the warriors told her that he drowned in the river, and he is running in the Dark Forest now.
